In 2020, after the internal adjustment of the Ferrotec Group was integrated the business of Ningxia Semiconductor Wafer Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Semiconductor Wafer Technology Co., Ltd.The three factories of Zhongxin Wafer have realized the complete production from the drawing of semiconductor monocrystalline silicon rods to the processing of 100mm~300mm semiconductor wafers.Now it has 9 item with 8-inch production lines and 2 items with 12-inch production lines with mature technology, with an annual production capacity of 2.4 million pieces/300mm, 5.4 million pieces/200mm, and 4.8 million pieces/150mm,and committed to becoming one of the main suppliers of semiconductor wafers in the world, breaking the long-term monopoly of foreign companies on the domestic semiconductor wafer market, and realizing the true "Made in China" in the semiconductor silicon material industry.

Ningxia Semiconductor Wafer Technology Co.,Ltd. was founded in December 2015 with a registered capital of 4 billion and a total construction area of approximately 47,000 square meters. It was officially put into production in March 2017. It is mainly engaged in the production of semiconductor ingots and slices. The main products are 4-12 inch semiconductor single crystal ingots, which are supplied to Shanghai and Hangzhou factories.
The company adopts the advanced single crystal furnace (32-inch thermal field, maximum loading capacity of 500kg) equipment independently developed by the group. Through continuous research and practice, it successfully overcomes the temperature stability control and the pressure distribution in the furnace during the 12-inch crystal rod drawing process with multiple technical difficulties, it has developed ultra-low resistivity for power devices and single crystal mass production technologies such as LOGIC and COP Free for MEMORY, which have made great contributions to the localization of large-diameter wafers in the semiconductor industry.

Shanghai Semiconductor Wafer Co.,Ltd. was formerly known as business department of Shanghai Shenhe Thermo-Magnetics Co.,Ltd. In 2002, it introduced a complete 4~6 inch crystal pull, wafer production line and processing technology from Japan’s Toshiba Ceramics, which is the history of China’s development one of the earlier semiconductor wafer processing companies, with a monthly production capacity of 400,000 wafers, the company invested in the construction of two 8-inch production lines with a monthly production capacity of 100,000 wafers in 2016, and started mass production in the second half of 2017. Zhejiang Lishui Semiconductor Wafer Co., Ltd.( Lishui Factory) located in Liandu District,Lishui,Zhejiang was founded in 2021. Lishui factory is mainly engaged in the R&D and production of 200mm-300mm EPI wafers.After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity can reach 1.2 million / 8-inch EPI wafers (focusing on special demand EPI wafers) and 2.4 million / 12-inch EPI wafers (focusing on common demand EPI wafers). In the future, the annual production capacity can be expanded to 2.4 million / 8-inch EPI wafers and 3.6 million / 12-inch EPI wafers. It is expected to become the largest silicon EPI wafer production base in China.
